Swedbank has received numerous awards and favourable rankings in various indexes and studies. Some of them are listed here below.

Swedbank is awarded the Best Bank in Lithuania and Estonia

The Global Finance magazine has recognised Swedbank as the Best Bank in Lithuania and Estonia of 2009. 

Swedbank appointed Business Bank of the Year 2009 in Sweden

Swedbank has been appointed Business Bank of the Year 2009 in the Swedish business magazine Affärsvärlden Financial Barometer survey. Swedbank has earlier been appointed to Business Bank of the Year for 2003, 2004 and 2005.

Swedbank Markets' head ranked top ten in Structured Products

Patrik Zedendahl, head of structured products at Swedbank Markets, has been ranked as one of the ten most influential people in the world in his area by the leading industry magazine for structured products, Structured Products magazine. Patrik Zedendahl, who´s one of the pioneers in the area, receives the award based on his dedicated and innovative contribution to the development of trading with structured products.

Swedbank Robur awarded best fund manager in the Nordic Region for the third consecutive year

For the third consecutive year, Swedbank Robur has been named the best fund manager in the Nordic region by the international analyst firm Lipper. The prize "Best Fund Group over Three Years, Overall Group Large" was received at an awards ceremony in Stockholm in March 2009. Swedbank Robur received another six awards for individual funds.

Swedbank appointed most equal among Swedish listed companies

For the sixth year running, Folksam reviewed and rated gender equality in Swedish registered stock exchange listed companies. At the top of the list is Swedbank appointed to the year equality companies, with 50 percent and 25 percent women on the Board and management team.

Swedbank is ranked as the most attractive employer in the financial sector

According to the annual student survey, Företagsbarometern, Swedbank is the most attractive Swedish bank to work for. The results of the survey were presented in March and according to finance and economics students, Swedbank is the sixth most attractive employer in Sweden.

Swedbank in Lithuania receives the Socially Responsible Company 2008 award

During the National Responsible Business Awards organised in Lithuania for the second time Swedbank received the main award – the organisation was recognised as Socially Responsible Company of 2008 in all spheres of social responsibility
