Policies and guidelines
The Board of Directors establishes all of Swedbank’s policies and certain instructions. The CEO, or person appointed by the CEO, establishes other instructions and guidelines. Swedbank’s policies cover such areas as
- the operating risks (financial, credit, operational and other risks)
- ethics
- communication
- security
- compliance
- operational outsourcing
- environmental
- equality and diversity and the work environment
- Identifying and managing conflict of interest
- prevention of Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing
- Corporate Social Responsibility
Common to all policies is that they are intended, amongst other things, to maintain and develop the immense values inherent in the operations and to maintain public confidence in the bank.
