Swedbank was established in Oslo in 1999, and can offer a full range of products to corporate clients, banks and financial institutions and private customers.

In Oslo Swedbank offers private customers internet banking, national and international payments, salary account and savingsaccounts, mortgage loans and other credit facilities debet- and creditcards, foreign exhange.

Swedbank offers corporate clients cash management solutions, foreign exchange products, loans and credits , certificates and bonds, deposits, card aquiring trade finance.
Product offering to banks and financial institutions consists in:, loans and credits (syndicated loans, club loans and bilateral loans, certificates and bonds, clearing and settlement , foreign exchange products.

During the past years Swedbank has, in addition to the wholly owned branch office in Norway, also acquired a majority ownership in First Securities ASA and the credit card company EnterCard. In 2003 we established Swedbank Markets in Oslo in cooperation with First Securities, and during this short period of time we have become one of the major players in the Norwegian market within rates, certificates and bonds.
