Swedbank Chief Economist says the real threat is stagnation

In the latest “To the Point”, from the Economic Research Department at Swedbank, the bank’s Chief Economist Cecilia Hermansson says there is a fear of a new recession spreading and creating a new global economic crisis. However, “as the tool box is more or less empty, an even more likely danger to western societies is the possibility of economic stagnation.”
