Bank Relations bears the overall global responsibility for Swedbank’s relationship with other Banks and represents your initial point of contact with the bank.
Bank Relations serve to promote and maintain successful and long-lasting relationships between Swedbank and other banks. Bank Relations collaborate with the rest of Swedbank’s organization, to be able to offer and distribute a wide range of financial products. Bank Relations, as well as the bank’s local offices possess in-depth knowledge and experience regarding each geographical market and its actors. Bank Relations is also responsible for processing and establishing credit limits for all of Swedbank’s financial institutions.
Bank Relations monitors political and economic trends in developing regions. The unit monitors trends in developing regions, moderating the level of risk accepted by the bank and advising customers with operations in such areas. The unit also provides advice regarding different terms of payment and on how customers can minimize their risk when conducting business in emerging markets.
