Swedbank adopts a CSR policy

A specific policy on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) was enacted in January 2008.
The new CSR policy, that was adapted on the 17th of January 2008, is based on the United Nations Global Compact. Areas that are covered by the policy are:
  • Human rights
  • Labour standards
  • Environment
  • Anti-corruption
Within Swedbank, the concept of CSR is considered to embody several important issues, each of which is regulated separately. The overall ambition of being a positive force in society is achieved through the day-to-day actions of all employees in accordance with the core values of the Swedbank group.
