Trade Finance
The mission of Swedbank’s Trade Finance group is to support customers in concluding safe and profitable transactions when conducting business to or from a company’s home market. In banking terms, we refer to export and import oriented companies.
In its essence, Trade Finance concerns how to secure a purchase from a particular country or sales of goods to that country while simultaneously supporting the companies involved professionally. Swedbank’s Trade Finance department helps secure the transaction flow and provide fundamental banking services, such as financing and insurance, for the transaction.
Swedbank's Trade Finance operations are supported by the bank’s extensive network of proprietary branches and partnerships with other banks in the Swedish and international banking arena. Swedbank cooperates and analyses 950 banks in over 80 markets.
