Swedbank and its staff should always be aware of potential conflicts of interest in order to identify and manage these in the best possible manner.

As a general rule, in situations where conflicts of interest arise, the interests of the other party must be given due consideration. The principle is that conflict of interest must be handled fairly, both between the bank and its customers and between one customer and another.
