Swedbank among the winners at the IR Magazine Nordic awards
2008-06-23
When IR Magazine Nordic Awards was held for the eighth time, Swedbank was one of the winners. For the second time, Swedbank won in the category "Most progress in IR". This year's winners were announced last week at an awards ceremony at Hotel D’Angleterre in Copenhagen.
Swedbank was the winner, for the second year in a row, in the category "Most progress in IR". The motivation this year was:
“Swedbank’s IR has improved beyound all recognition and is now much more accessible and helpful”. It is worth noting that Swedbank is the only Swedish bank among the pan-Nordic categories, which Swedbank's IRO Johannes Rudbeck is very happy about.
- We have worked very hard this past year - the job wouldn't have been any fun otherwise, he says. We will now continue the hard work and hopefully we'll be nominated in some other category next year.
