Swedbank Markets

Swedbank Markets offers a broad range of products and services in the capital markets. Operations primarily comprise fixed income and currency trading, equity trading, corporate finance, varrous forms of project and corporate financing and syndication, and trade finance - products that meet the payment and delivery needs of buyers and sellers in international trade.

Our main operations are located in Sweden and Norway, with branches in New York and Shanghai, and also corporate finance operations in the Baltics and Moscow.

Priorities 2008

  • To sustain the pace of growth and leading position within structured products, structured investment products, and as regards institutional clients and private customers.
  • Continued growth in Project and Corporate Finance business, based on establishing a presence in Sweden, the Baltic states and Russia.
  • Continued integration of Financial Institutions business in the Group including offerings, limits and AML.
  • Further develop international customer offerings from the Shanghai and New York branches.
  • Continued focus on building up and developing customer offerings and internet trading growth in all capital market products.
