Corporates and Institutions (C&I) has the overall responsibility for Swedbank’s offering to large corporates, financial institutions, organisations and banks with an annual turnover of more than SEK 2bn, as well as those with complex needs, which may include customers operating in several countries or those who require advanced financing solutions.
Strategic advisor and business partner
The business area is also responsible for supplying corporate- and capital markets products for Swedish Banking, Baltic Banking, and customers of the Savings Banks within Sweden. Our client organisation operates in sector teams as strategic advisors and business partners for our customers, most of whom are based in the Nordic-Baltic region.
The business area offers products such as trading in fixed income, currencies, bonds and structured products, as well as derivatives solutions adapted to the needs of our clients. C&I also offers advisory to the owners, boards and management teams of large corporates and institutions, as well as facilitating capital-raising and resolving issues related to structure and ownership. The offering also includes equity- and equity-related trading, as well as analysis of the Nordic and Baltic equity and credit markets. Trade Finance helps to minimise the financial risk of import- and export companies and to improve their liquidity.
International coverage
The business area has approximately 2 000 employees and is represented in Stockholm, Gothenburg, Malmö, Riga, Vilnius, Tallinn, Helsinki, Oslo, Shanghai and New York.
