Get access to our PSD2 APIs
To be able to go live with Swedbank Open Banking PSD2 APIs (Account Information and Payment Initiation API), here are five steps you need to take. If you have any issues along the road, don't hesitate to contact us.
-
Step 1
Register in the Swedbank Developer Portal if you haven’t done so already.
-
Step 2
Go through the API documentation (pdf) (which you will be able to see after you log into the Developer Portal). Build and run your application in the Sandbox environment.
-
Step 3
Make sure you have the required local FSA licence (PISP and/or AISP).
Each country has their own guidelines on obtaining a licence; please consult with your local FSA. If you have the needed licence in one country and want to connect to PSD2 API in another country, you need to passport the licence from the country where you have the licence to the other country.
-
Step 4
Get certificates:
QSEAL certificate (Qualified Electronic Seal Certificate)
QWAC certificate (Qualified Website Authentication Certificate)
-
Step 5
Once you have completed the steps above: log in to the Swedbank Developer Portal and go to Publish-> Apps-> Add application (or Edit the one you have already created), fill in the form (adding certificates), submit it and we will finalise your integration with Swedbank together.
