Anna Breman has successfully led Swedbank's Global Macro Research Team, which is responsible for all global, regional and national macro analysis at Swedbank. Anna has also helped build Swedbank's team of senior and knowledgeable experts and initiated reports like Swedbank Economic Outlook (SEO); a quarterly macro analysis with focus on the Nordic and Baltic countries, the global economy and an in-depth analysis of current market themes.

Swedbank's Forecast Manager and Deputy Head of Macro analysis, Andreas Wallström, has been appointed acting Chief Economist and Head of Global Macro Research. Andreas will take on his new role as of the 11 November.

Andreas has previously held several senior positions and expert assignments, including at the Ministry of Finance and the European Commission. Andreas's analyses are recognized as of high quality and he has a special expertise in the housing market and sustainability issues that he combins with a high ambition that macro analysis will continue to generate high customer value and actively spread knowledge to a broad target group.

Anna Breman takes up her new assignment at the Swedish Riksbank on 1 December.
