Employee engagement
Employee engagement is one of the most important indicators in work satisfaction. For us it is important that employees can influence their work, be enthusiastic about the organisation, have a sense of belonging, and have flexibility around schedules and location.
To encourage all Swedbank employees to grow, to understand how we are doing and how well we perceive and deliver on the bank’s strategically important areas, we run regular employee surveys. Our aim is to track our progress, and trigger changed behaviour in our everyday work and to encourage a continuous dialogue and open feedback culture.
Our employee survey People Pulse
- People Pulse is our Group-wide employee survey which is sent to all employees three times per year.
- Content varies depending on the period of the year, and the survey contains questions related to both engagement and strategically important areas.
- All managers have the responsibility to go through, follow up and work with the results with their teams.
We follow up engagement regularly
- Regular People Pulse engagement questions focus on collaboration, influence on work, and feeling valued.
- We monitor the extent to which employees recommend us as an employer through eNPS.
- Our goal is to have Engagement Index >= 80 throughout Swedbank.
